About the event
FCPLG Tark Manch is a national inter-college debate competition uniting exceptional young minds from universities and colleges across India, now in its second edition.
The 2026 edition explores “Role of Gen-Z in Contemporary Politics”, examining how today's generation is redefining leadership, governance, political participation and democratic engagement. It is a platform where ideas are debated with logic, perspectives are challenged with respect, and future leaders develop the confidence to shape public discourse.

Who can participate
- Undergraduate & Postgraduate students
- From any recognised college / university in India
- All academic disciplines welcome
- May speak for or against the motion
Format & rules
- Individual debate format
- Main argument: 3 minutes
- Closing argument / rebuttal: 1 minute
- Total speaking time: 4 minutes (30-second grace period)
- Language: English or Hindi
- Formal attire mandatory; reading from scripts not permitted
